Dr. Bunnell,originally from Houston, received his BA in chemistry from Austin College in Sherman, Texas. He received his MD from the University of Texas in Houston, and did his internship at Brackenridge Hospital in Austin. He completed his residency at Bowman Gray School of Medicine in North Carolina.

Dr. Bunnell is an internist with Port Lavaca Clinic and has practiced there since 1986. His wife, Jeannine Griffin, a Port Lavaca native, is a pediatrician at the clinic. They have four sons: Griffin and Charlie who attend college at Southwestern, and Randy and Rylee who attend public school in Calhoun County.

Dr Bunnell and his family are active members of First United Methodist Church and are very active in the local YMCA.

Dr. McFarland has been a family practitioner in Port Lavaca since 1986 when he moved from Galveston where he completed his residency. In 1993, Dr. McFarland opened Coastal Medical Clinic where he is currently practicing with Dr. William Crowley, D.O. and Gary Cook, PA-C. Dr. McFarland and his wife, Ann, have been married over 25 years and have two sons, William and Danny, who have graduated from Calhoun High School and are currently attending college. He and Ann also have three daughters: Elise, Rebecca and Bethany who are attending public school in Port Lavaca.

Dr. McFarland was born and raised in Baytown, Texas. He attended Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Biology. He attended medical school in Galveston, TX.

Dr. McFarland is an active member of the Texas Medical Association, American Academy of Family Physicians, American Medical Association, Calhoun County Medical Society, Memorial Medical Center Medical Staff, and is an active member of First Baptist Church, Port Lavaca. His hobbies include hunting, fishing and tennis.
