Dr. Jesse M. Garcia
Dr. Jesse M. Garcia is a graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio and the University of Texas Houston-School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at Conroe Regional Medical Center and Conroe Medical Education Foundation in Conroe, Texas.
Dr. Garcia is Board certified by the American Association of Family Practice. His professional interests are general family medicine, diabetes, hypertension, office procedures, aesthetics, academics and teaching, patient education, electronic medical records, and geriatrics.
Dr. Garcia is a member of the American Association of Family Practice, the Texas Association of Family Practice, the American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association, American College of Physicians, and the Nueces County Medical Society. Dr. Garcia’s many honors include Bayou City Medical Center Scholar; National Medical Fellowship Scholar, Bristol-Myers Squibb Essay Award, National Institutes of Diabetes, Digestive, and Kidney Diseases Scholar, Frank C. Webber Research Award, and the Resident Teaching Award.
Dr. Garcia and his wife, Kathleen, have a beautiful daughter named Isabella. His hobbies are fishing, exercising, and enjoying time with family. He also speaks fluent Spanish.

Dr. Marc Ibanez
Dr. Marc Ibáñez, MD was born and raised in New Orleans, LA. He left New Orleans to attend The University of Texas in Austin for his Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology. He then moved on to the University of California, Berkeley for graduate studies in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. After graduate school, he spent three years as a professor of biology and chemistry at the community college in the Bay Area. During that time, his wife was going through her residency in internal medicine.
After watching his wife and talking with her about what she was doing every day, he decided that medicine would be something he would enjoy. He decided to go back to school, attending University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. He stayed there for his residency in Internal Medicine.
Dr. Ibáñez and his wife are now in private practice together in Corpus Christi, where they live with their three children.
About fifteen months ago, Dr. Ibáñez became Medical Director of Corpus Christi Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Most recently, he has accepted the position of Medical Director Consultant, essentially performing the duties of a corporate level Medical Director.
