Dr. Robert B. Satterfield is a board certified internist and hypertension specialist. He received his undergraduate degree from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, his master’s from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, and his medical degree from the University of Texas medical Branch Galveston. His residency and internship were done in internal medicine at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis, Indiana.

In private practice at the South Texas Medical Clinics in Wharton since 1984, Dr. Satterfield is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, the American Society of Hypertension, and the National Lipid Association.

He and his wife have three children. In his spare time, Dr. Satterfield enjoys reading and history.
