Senior Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center is a beautiful Texas nursing facility with 199 licensed beds; a Generations Unit (24-bed secured unit that provides around-the-clock professional nursing care). We also feature our Wellness unit. Our skilled nursing facility excels in comprehensive rehabilitation services and offers a variety of daily activities to our residents. Our therapy services include physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy as well as respiratory therapy. We pride ourselves on promoting the strength and independence of our residents. Our philosophy of care centers around the individual needs of each resident entering Senior Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center.
The Generations Unit serves its residents with:
• Developed program to meet the needs of individuals who are living with Dementia, Alzheimer’s or other dementia related disorders.
• We recognize the importance for continued growth in their spiritual, physical, and mental self.
• Encourages the staff and families to work together for the maximum benefit of the resident.
• Our program will make every effort to provide a comforting structured environment where the residents and their families can share optimal time together.
The Wellness Unit will serve its residents with :
• 24 hour Skilled nursing care
• Full compliment of Rehabilitation services such as:
• Restorative Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy
• Amenities as:
• All Private Suites,
• Separate & Private Entrance,
• Signature Dining,
• In Room Flat Screen TV's and Telephone,
• Hospitality Services,
• Full Medicare and Medicaid Certification with Short Term Respite Care.
Due to our dedication to each individual’s needs, Senior Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center received the distinguished honor of zero deficiencies in nursing and food service on our last survey by the Health Department. In addition to this distinction, our residents enjoy meals prepared by our talented food service department who recently won the area “Gumbo Cook Off”.
Our management team focuses on service to residents and families. A senior manager is on-site seven days a week for your convenience and each family has 24 hour/7 day a week immediate access to an Administrator.
