Yoakum Nursing and Rehabilitation Center was opened on October 20, 1997, with the financial support of local investors under the direct supervision of Regency Nursing Centers, Inc.

Our facility was built by our community, for our community. The goal of Yoakum Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is to assist our community and surrounding areas to reach and execute a higher expectation of both service and standards in long term nursing home care and rehabilitation.

Rehabilitation is not only in our name, but the main component of our success! Skilled therapy provided by our facility includes physical therapy, occupation therapy, and speech therapy. Licensed therapists specializing in each therapy field provide therapy five days a week. Progress is monitored on a daily basis and each resident has a plan of care unique to his or her individual needs. In addition to these benefits, numerous programs have been initiated in our nursing home to protect and encourage residents to achieve a high quality of life.

As our residents return back to their optimal level, they are able to enjoy many activities both in and out of our facility. Church services, special music, Cooking, Bingo, Dominos, Country Music USA, and Luncheons out at the local restaurants are just a few enjoyable nursing home activities that take place on a daily basis. Activities play an active part in our home for not only our residents, but also our community that comes just to enjoy the festivities.

Each and every day as we look around our home we see life, happiness, and the celebration of success of our residents, our staff and our facility.
