Opened in the fall of 2006, this beautiful 120-bed facility is nestled deep in South Texas on the Mexican border where a subtropical climate and mild winters entice visitors from all over the country. Full of historic treasures and offering cultural diversity, Rio Grande City is also the economic and political center of the region.

Whether your move to the area is temporary or permanent, Rio Grande City welcomes you with open arms, and at our new facility, we do the same. Specifically designed for residents requiring 24-hour nursing and/or skilled care as well as those transitioning from hospital to home, we offer a full line of therapies, social services and more. Both Medicare and Medicaid certified, Rio Grande City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center also accepts long term care insurance and private pay.
